Art Wolfe says that if you want artistic photographs you shouldn't just go to a location that many other photographers have already done. Fine, I agree. Let's don't call this art; let's call it "I just want to see this thing for myself." You have to plan your walk here carefully, as it's treacherous because of huge patches of boulders and impassable at mid- and high tide.

  1. The viewer’s eye is directed into the picture to the rock that intrigues us because it seems so “other worldly.” Very interesting. Thanks for posting so we can study it.
