This was a result of ‘working the subject.’ I wanted the moon next to the head in some way, and I took a number of shots with the moon below the chin and then right in front of the eyes. (Both were boring.) Eventually, I realized that there was a parking space for the moon right behind the neck. (I confess that I cheated on our exercise because my desire to get this right made me ignore my timer. Sorry.)
