I got my 'black box' flower studio set up next to a window. I shot this today while the skies were overcast so nice soft light. Used several diffusers, flags etc to shape the light. I was trying to get nice shadows to create a 3 dimensional feel. Wasn't sure this would be a good subject (but they were on sale at the Safeway... so worth a shot). I actually like the colors. All feedback is appreciated. Still learning to see the light...

Oops, I think I hit upload twice by mistake… this is the same photo. Still learning the system.
Really nice picture Todd. Was the flower against a black background or did you do something to turn the background black?
Very nice. Sharp everywhere it needs to be. The lighting is great.
really enjoy the lighting –
