She is nesting in the pond near the backside of our home and comes to the area below our bird feeder to pick up discarded seeds. I will be watching for the opportunity to take pictures of baby ducks soon.

Excellent focus and great lighting. If that was cropped in, I think I may have left the foot in there, but with that said, this is an absolute clear shot of a gorgeous bird.
It was late in the day and I got that low light hitting the duck. I was really just trying out my new lens and did not intend to make a good photo so, I was not paying attention to the foot. I would have left it in too if I had been paying attention. Thanks Joe.
