Early one morning

Taken near the S. entrance to Yellowstone park. We got an early start this morning and could have easily missed this photo because within a minute the fog had lifted substantially. The photos that I took right after this shot had so much less fog that they were not interesting. It makes me wonder what we would have seen if we had not stopped to take a picture of the bugling elk a short time before. So many opportunities!!!!!!!
