Copies of The Spirit of Central Oregon are ordered from the printer!
We expect copies to be delivered in late October or November and will offer books for sale on this site then.
Update from the successful Kickstarter campaign:
I'm happy to let you know we're on schedule with the book.
Your pre-orders and donations, combined with the financial support from our partner, Visit Central Oregon and our new additional partner, Eagle Wealth Management, allowed us to order the printing of 1,050 copies from PrintNinja. Yes, we ordered! We finished the book, uploaded the files, placed the order on July 24, and are currently in the proofing process.
If all else goes smoothly, we are expecting the books to arrive between mid-October and early November. When that happens, we will arrange to distribute books to club members directly, if possible, and to mail the books to the rest of you using the mailing address you supplied in the Kickstarter backers survey. You can change that address through your Kickstarter account, if necessary, at any time before we start the mailing.
We have made good progress in planning for the launch event in Bend in early December. I will let you know the details when they are confirmed. We will have extra books for sale at the launch event and also online at cascadecameraclub.com.
