Blanche, This is really fantastic. I would suggest trying a version with the top third (the forest) darkened quite a lot, then bring back some of the brightness in the center background above the creek. Sort of like a tunnel of light. That would help the beautiful green moss that lines the creek stand out and glow more. Selectively brightening the mossy leaning branches would be cool too.
